Carolinas Communication Association congratulates Dr. James N. Gilmore, recipient of the 2018 Ray Camp Research Award. The Camp Award is given annually to a faculty-authored paper and is decided by blind review of all papers accepted for the annual conference.

This year’s recipient, Dr. Gilmore, currently serves as Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication Studies at Clemson University. The award honors Dr. Gilmore’s paper titled, “Smart Listening Systems and the Informatization of Communication.”
