Carolinas Communication Association congratulates Dr. Jamie Litty, recipient of the 2019 Betty Jo Welch Award. The Welch Award is given annually to a professor who has demonstrated continuing and outstanding service to the association and the professions.

This year’s recipient, Dr. Litty, currently serves as Professor and Chair of Mass Communication at the University of North Carolina – Pembroke.
