Carolinas Communication Association congratulates Dr. Jason Munsell, recipient of the 2018 Ray Camp Research Award. The Camp Award is given annually to a faculty-authored paper and is decided by blind review of all papers accepted for the annual conference.
This year’s recipient, Dr. Munsell, a three-time winner of the Camp Award, currently serves as Associate Professor in the Department of Communication Studies at University of South Carolina, Aiken. The award honors Dr. Munsell’s paper titled, “Sustaining Interest in Disciplinary History: Fritz Kunkel, Elwood Murray’s ‘Speech Personality’ and the Guilt of Speech Hygiene.”
