More Student Posters please!!!

CCA has room for more student posters!  This would be a great first conference experience, particularly for undergraduate students.  Poster submissions must include two Microsoft Word file attachments: (1) a file containing a cover sheet listing the paper title and author name(s), affiliation, email, physical addresses and phone number for all authors, and (2) a file including a 50-word abstract and a rationalization of the use of a poster.  If accepted, poster presenters must use best practices in designing the poster:  Important information should be readable from about 10 feet away; title is short and draws interest; word count of about 300 to 800 words; text is clear and to the point; use of bullets, numbering, and headlines make it easy to read, effective use of graphics, color and fonts; consistent and clean layout; includes acknowledgments, your name and institutional affiliation.  Please use CCA Poster submission in subject line. Deadline is Sept. 10, 2022.  Please send submissions to Jason Munsell (aka the Carolina Horse Whisperer), jasonm@usca.edu.

I acknowledge that the land upon which I dwell is located on the traditional territory of the Congaree and Tsalaguwetiyi peoples, past and present. I honor with gratitude the land itself and the people who have stewarded it throughout generations. I commit to labor that recognizes Indigenous cultures and spaces, spotlights Native agency, and seeks to unsettle logics of colonialism.
