GRADUATE PROGRAMS: The University of South Carolina School of Journalism and Mass Communications Doctoral Program Virtual (Zoom) Open House Sessions
The University of South Carolina’s School of Journalism and Mass Communications will be hosting virtual open house sessions for prospective Ph.D. students on Thursday, November 14 and Friday, November 15. Dr. Kenneth Campbell, Interim Associate Director of Graduate Studies, will present information about our doctoral program. Current students will also share their experiences and answer questions. Come learn about admissions, funding opportunities, important deadlines, and more.

Dates (Two Opportunities): Thursday, November 14 at 9 a.m. EST and Friday, November 15 at 11 a.m. EST

You will receive a Zoom meeting link upon registration. These sessions are identical and prospective students may attend either session.
The program is currently accepting applications for the Fall 2025 cycle. The deadline to apply is January 15, 2025. Admissions information can be found here.
